The reason why I do a fitness trainer not only a physical therapist

My name is Ikuko Murata.


I’m working as a Physical Therapist , and a fitness trainer.

This is a first report in this blog, so today I write the reason why I work as a fitness trainer not only as a physical therapist, including the introduction for me.


The main reason is blow 3.

1, Prevention is important before body broken.

2, To prevent, you need to know about your body character. but most of the people don't know that.

3, The base of prevention is good posture. When you want to improve the posture, it better to follow the anatomy.




1, Prevention is important before body broken.


People come to the hospital after they feel the pain, and I take care the patient.

It means I'm waiting the patient inside of the hospital.

Of course it's OK, if I can solve the problem in the hospital only.

But honestly it's impossible.

I can not repair the patient' body construction which can not be healed by themselves like a bone, soft bone, ligament so on.

Sometimes I feel "If I could do this advice 10 years before, this patient's trouble could not be appeared?".

And I thought I should have a contact with the person who don't have a pain yet , but who should do a prevention.

This is the first reason why I do a trainer not only a physical therapist.





2, To prevent, you need to know about your body character. but most of the people don't know it.


To prevent the body trouble in the future, you need to have a hole body check objectively, about the shape of your bone, about your long habit in your life...and so on.

Without the checking, you can not know about your "risk".

Without knowing your "risk", you can't prevent anything.

Because you don't know what is your "risk".

So it is important to "know" about your body.

To know your body character is the first step of the prevention.

But many people don't know this.

So I want to spread this thought.

Because if this thought would be major, we can rescue many people from their trouble.

This is the second reason I work as a trainer.


3, The base of prevention is good posture. When you want to improve the postur


e, it better to follow the anatomy.


Honestly my posture is not good. It is so big complex...

But it's getting better now.

I learned it is important to follow the knowledge of anatomy when we do a training, by using my own body.

And also I learned if we do a training without following the anatomy, it makes our body-line worse.

So I want to share this experience and support the people who have the same complex as me.

This is the third reason why I do a trainer.
